OUR FOOD

The Barrel House offers gourmet catering for your special event. Our catering operations are directed by the highly regarded Judith and Jill Bakehorn of Bluegrass Catering. We offer a broad range of creative menu choices whether for a luncheon, elegant sit-down dinner, dinner buffet or classic cocktail reception. We take extreme pride in what we serve you. All menu items are prepared from scratch and recipes have been chosen exclusively for your event. We will match our food against any in the industry. Any of your desires can be satisfied by our staff.

OUR FACILITIES

The Barrel House is meticulously maintained. You should have a reasonable expectation as to how the banquet room will look six months or a year from when you book it. The investment in facility maintenance & renovation speaks for itself. Decorated in an early 1900's Art Deco theme, the Barrel House is painted with chic colors and trimmed in copper and stacked stone, accented with a touch of Kentucky Distillery history.

FAQs

Is there plenty of parking?

Ample complimentary parking is available in each one of our community parking lots (all marked with street signs) in the first block of Manchester Street. Distillery District parking is available beside Buster's Bar, on each side of Pine Street and if you turn right at the Barrel House's entrance, you will find a large parking lot in the back.

Are there any Service Charges, Corkage Fees or Gratuities added to my bill?

Bluegrass Catering Service Charge is 10% for food charges.
Venue Service Charge is 10% of rental charge.
Bar Gratuity is 20% - There are No Corkage Fees.

Do you offer special rates at different times of the week or year?

Yes, we offers special rates during the months of January and February. Days with discounts are Monday through Thursday and Sunday afternoons. Ask your planner for details.

Where is The Grand Reserve Events Center located?

We are conveniently located in the Historic Downtown Distillery District in Lexington, KY, with easy access from I-75, I-64 and downtown Lexington.

How many people can you cater to?

The Grand Reserve can accommodate up to 900 guests. We specialize in events ranging from more intimate parties to large corporate affairs and wedding events.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes. The full rental price plus tax is the non refundable deposit that will secure our services and your date. This deposit will be applied to your final invoice.

Do you allow outside caterers?

No. Our exclusive caterer is Bluegrass Catering. Although outside bakeries for wedding cakes are accepted.

Do you allow us to bring our own alcohol in for my event?

No, we do not allow for this provision.
